Pleasantly surprised with these simple gold hoops. I was nervous about having a bad reaction to the cheap metal, but aside from the total pain it is to get them on initially, they’ve been great. I sleep and shower with them and they are totally comfortable. Have them in my second hole at earlobe.

I've been wearing little hoops like this in my helix since I was 11, so as you can imagine, I've tried soooooooo many different styles throughout the years: hoops that snap shut (https://www.amazon.com/EACHLP-Stainless-Hypoallergenic-Cartilage-10mmGold%EF%BC%89/dp/B08HNHKJDR/), hoops that bend to open or close (https://www.amazon.com/Filled-Small-Earrings-Cartilage-Piercing/dp/B08FHS3537/), hoops that have teeny tiny ends that you have to perfectly align to clip into the other end (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07R28MC4X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1), and hoops where you insert the post into the inside of the other end, like these.I got a 3 pack of the 8MM size in SILVER (6 total earrings). I have small ears and personally find this size doesn't hug my ear quite as closely as I'd like in some of my piercings, so I wish they had a 6MM option, but these are still a great fit for me. I was hesitant to order these at first because I saw one or two reviewers claim these were too small on their small ears, so either they do not have small ears or they have piercings set further up. I would say to stick with 10MM or 12MM if you have more normal size ears or higher set piercings. Otherwise, 8mm is a great size.As for those saying they're difficult to get in, I can see where they're coming from. The best advice I can offer is to slightly and GENTLY bend the earrings apart (not the post, but the actual thicker earring piece). That will give you a bit more room to fit the back in and make it easier. I would recommend practicing opening and closing them out of your ear before you try on an actual piercing. I would also not recommend trying something like this for the first time on a newer piercing, as they are a lot more prone to becoming irritated. If you can't get it in and your ear is getting irritated, let it rest for a while and try bending the earring a bit more. You could also do what some others have suggested and put them in backwards, so you'll actually be able to see the post and guide it; it won't be obvious they're backwards. If you are newer to these and are having a lot of trouble, I'd highly recommend the style that just clips to itself/snaps shut instead, like the first ones I mentioned above.I can't speak to the longevity of these since I just started wearing them, but they seem like the standard quality so far, so I haven't had any irritation. I'd definitely pick these up again if I needed more, and I'd recommend them if someone was looking for this style.

I like these earrings but they are by far the most irritating thing to put on/close. I haven't successfully been able to close one yet and I've had them for about 3 weeks now so I've just been wearing it without closing it and sometimes they fall out. Guess I'm happy I got a 8 pack. I really just don't understand how someone is supposed to close them. I've tried for 30 minutes straight until my ear hurt so bad I had to take it out for a couple of days. They are way too small and it's impossible to get the smaller piece back into the tiny hole. I even had my husband try for me and he said the same thing. Otherwise, they are cute.

The 10mm earrings work really well for a regular ear piercing but they can also fit well in my cartilage piercings. In the picture I have the 10mm in my cartilage. I didn't realize the 8mm would be so small. Of course I notice on the page after I ordered, that they mentioned the 8mm is very tiny and can fit tight. That is definitely true. The 10mm is perfect for my cartilage piercing, the 8mm would suffocate my ear if i wore it on my cartilage. The 8mm is perfect for my second and third ear lobe piercings, though. I see reviews saying that they have lost their earrings because they weren't clicking in very well, mine were perfectly fine and they click in very well! I have never had the feeling I would loose them or break them at all.

3 pairs for the price of one. You really can't beat that. I'm always nervous buying jewelry because I'm allergic to most metals except actual silver/gold or surgical steel. Even nickel plating causes me to get a reaction. However these gave me no bad reactions so I can confirm it's real silver. Gave a pair to my sibling and kept the others. Would definitely buy again.

The gold color was perfect, didn’t look too cheap/fake. My 2nd ear holes are super sensative and these do not bother me at all! I do have to say they are difficult to put in but, I got the smallest size.
