According to the pictures, I assumed these would be a bit smaller and snug to my ear lobe, but these are not. They're slightly chunkier and hang a good half inch or so below my lobe. I like that they're well constructed, however, that the 'needle' does not wobble from side to side, making it easy to insert into your ear and snap into the enclosure with ease. I did not wear these for long to test for any color-turning, but they feel and look great! Also, for those of you who struggle with wearing anything heavy, these are lightweight and don't feel heavy in the slightest.Definitely a good value!

Heavy chunky Irish girl earrings. I actually like them but it is advertised as the whole earring is 925 sterling silver and I just don't believe that's what this is.. these are heavy, but attractive.

I wanted to love these earrings, the latch to fasten them is so cheap I couldn’t even close one of them it wouldn’t snap in! Don’t waste your money!

WOW! I selected the "Irish Girl" chunky hoop style that's edged in kind of a twisted rope design and I am sooo happy with them!! They are solid silver so they are a bit heavy but not at all uncomfortable or annoying...and the look is just gorgeous: slightly oversized yet still classic and the design is somehow both edgy and yet has this romantic almost medieval look to them. I usually wear only gold tones but got these to coordinate with some silver jewelry from a well-known charm bracelet company (P@@@@@@) and the style & weight of these earrings are the perfect compliment :)
