So I had a big chunky silver wedding band from James Avery (Athena wedding band) that fit a little loose but I'd worn it for years and years. It'd fall off a lot. There were many times I'd be gesticulating wihle socializing at a restaurant or bar or wherever and it would just fly off. Luckily silver makes a distinctive sound (which is how I pick out vintage silver coins among change - it happens once every 7 years or so) and everyone could hear it and help locate the ring within a minute. I'd even lost it in a swimming pool at a resort and the kids made a game of finding it at the bottom of the pool. I'd lost it once for about a year and a half and found it upon removing the mattress and box springs from the kind sized bed in the master. No telling how long the cats had been playing with it around the house. At any rate, I lost while at the cinema or an IHOP following the cinema about a month ago. I decided I'd replace it with the same ring from James Avery but had noticed a lot of men were now wearing different bands so I did some looking around and found a bunch of these right here. What drew me to these were the price and the variety of color. I ordered them and really wasn't expecting much -- or rather, I didn't really know what to expect. I was bored at work and just ordered them on a whim. They arrived last night and I tried one on. Oh My Gosh! It fit so perfectly and felt so light and secure. I hadn't realized how heavy that old silver ring was until I tried one of these on. I was very pleased with my purchase of these right away. Today, the Astros just won last night so I put on an orange shirt and decided I'd sport the dark blue ring to go with it (options, amiright?). Well, here at the office, under all this bright light I see all the dust/debris the dark silicone picks up. I should've realized that but, you know what? It's no deal at all. A quick hand wash takes care of it and I'm still really pleased. I expect the rings will become frayed over time, or maybe get cut up. but I can simply order some more then. And if they don't, well dang! So, yeah, if you're thinking about getting these, just do it.
