Pretty, but smaller than it appears in the picture. Almost sent it back, because the clasp didn’t fit on the neck wire I wanted to use it on, but I did like the appearance, so I switched it to a silver chain instead. Not sure I’d have paid the price for it, if I’d have known this before hand…

This is a pretty piece but disappointing. The "shell" part presents as a thin slice of plastic not shell as advertised. As there is no chain that was another purchase. I am returning this item as it was purchased as a gift.

Where to start? It's a cute pendant, but I'm in no way convinced the findings are real sterling silver. Maybe plated? The metal is thin, shiny, and already had spots wearing away when I received it. The abalone shell part is about the thickness of a piece of printer paper, and seems to be encased in resin. Maybe the whole thing is plastic? However, I decided to keep it, because at this price point, I wasn't expecting more than a cheap piece of costume jewelry, and that's what it is. It works for the purpose I bought it--to wear at a festival, where it might well get misplaced or lost. Good thing I don't have a nickel allergy.

My only critique is that I wish they produced a round version in addition to the oval.Otherwise it's beautiful and well made.
