We have been best friends for over 25 years, share a like mindedness and sister like bond that made going into business together a natural and easy decision. You know that friend that shows up in the exact same outfit as you, but wears it totally different, creating their own style and look? That's us. E&O was born from our similar tastes and personalities. We take inspiration from our travels and experiences we have had together and also from the many years that we lived thousands of miles apart. When we started Emerson & Oliver in 2012, Mary was living in NY, and Laura was living in Barbados. We were looking for jewelry that worked, not only in the city, but on the beach as well. We reflected back on the jelly bracelets and piano wire bracelets of our youth and redesigned them, making them our own. The DIA Bracelets were born.

I only wear silver so I was skeptical about the copper & gold in this combination. It turns out that it adds a little fun to everyday wear. These bracelets are so comfortable and half of the time I don’t even know that they are on. I love them. Bought the 10 pack of plain metal to add to the stack. They are so light and great to wear all the time, however use caution with some materials. Not once have a felt them pull hair from my arm, but one got stuck on my sweater. In taking off the sleeve, it got stretched and is now wonky. )C:(Update...they are all either stretched out or broken. That was nice while it lasted. Too expensive to wear for less than six months.)

I purchased these bracelets because one of my favorite Youtubers suggested them. I spent $66 , only to receive them yesterday evening and after 1 bath and 1 nights sleep, one had broken and another was misshaped. I was so disappointed because I wanted to love these bracelets. I decided to return them because I didn't want to take a chance that anymore would break or lose their shape.. I received an email to rate them after I already packed them up to return so unfortunately no pictures. I usually never write reviews, because I would never want to cause someone to lose business, however I'm just so upset because I rarely get to treat myself and when I saw these bracelets I thought they were so special I decided to splurge. Other than that, the bracelets are absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Maybe I got a bad batch.
