I ordered this for my mom. My mom and myself really loved it. It is on the small elegant scale of women watches. But still it is not too tiny, my mom says that she can easily check time. I would say that it has medium and easy to read size among small-elegant scale of women watches.One of the best feature of it is day-and-date feature. It is big enough to read both date and day without hassle, and by no way it dimes the elegance of the watch. It has the perfect size, not too big not too small. In general size of all features and watch itself is perfect.I was reluctant to buy stainless steel watch, I was more for buying gold plated watches at least. But, they have much higher price than this and I wanted to buy high quality brand. Seiko is definitely a high quality brand. So, I wanted to first try this and decided if this won't works, I would order a new gold plated one. But I was quite happy with the tone of the watch. I do not know what kind of process Seiko is using for gold tone, but it definitely works. Its color is even better than the gold plated ones. Band color has two very close tones of gold color (or due to reflection I saw two tones, I am not quite sure). Both tones are very good in harmony. My mom (and my wife) loved it. I will check the color after along time of usage and keep you updated.By the way, my wife also loved it. I thought this is not for younger. But she definitely adore it. I am ordering one for her in this valentines.

Have only had the watch for less than a week. When I first received it, I wore it for several hours and removed it at bedtime. The next morning, the watch had the incorrect time. I reset and wore constantly for 2 days and it seems to be okay. Will be in a better position to evaluate in a few more days. I have worn Seiko watches for approximately 25 years and have never experienced any problems. I hope this one continues to function properly for I really like it.

It should be a good watch just by it’s brand name-Seiko. I just got it recently so not able to say much at this point. My previous Seiko watch went over 25 years! And this was everyday wear. I hope this one will do the same. Even 5-10 years would be nice. The watch looks nice and I regret I did not take notice it was not a quartz watch. AND the reason for only 2 stars is the difficulty in trying to adjust the band to fit my wrist. My husband even went on You Tube. The tutorial was good, but it IS one of the most difficult bands to adjust according to the tutorial and my husband just gave up after an hour of trying. It is not as simple as most other watch bands. I now have to take it to a watch repair shop and pay them to adjust the band.Following up with this review. This watch does not live up to it’s brand name. I have tried everything and this watch does not wish to cooperate. After adjusting the band at a watch repair shop, I thought I would be good to go. No way! I wore it just to keep the time going, but it lagged in time keeping after 3 weeks. I thought I wasn’t energizing it enough. It just stopped keeping correct time and I constantly have to adjust it. I will be getting in contact to see if I can return it for another one. So disappointed.

The price of "around $100" for a mechanical/automatic movement watch is actually pretty cheap in this day and age. And the price point is actually the biggest "PLUS" for this watch and for buyers looking at mechanical movements..Now for the negatives and the 4 star rating.With the band, I don't think the links are as polished/smooth as they could be.And the overall "weight" of the band feels really light weight, almost like aluminum and not stainless steel.The band just feels cheap to me. But hey, this is just my opinion and compared to a really cheap $20 disposable watch, the band is probably pretty good.The other thing I take exception to is the color of "gold colored" plating.It is more yellow/polished brass than "gold" like.It is WAY MORE BRIGHT YELLOW than the picture presented in the online description/display.A picture which I am sure is a stock photo provided by Seiko.As a side note, I kind of expected this would be the case before I bought it, so I was not surprised by it's "yellow" appearance.There is nothing negative enough to make me return it and like I said, for the $100 price point, it's a pretty decent watch.

Got this for my wife as an "everyday" watch......I swear by Seiko for their quality & best, their water-proofness!!! Keeps time to the point it only needs to shave off maybe just one minute in either direction per MONTH.......Thanks for quality @ a reasonable price.

also the hands and face are too similar a color very hard to read time and day date is very small i would reccomend a different face model. the watch is nice looking
