Absolutely stunning gift for your lady who loves Guy Harvey tees and art or the sea. I also bought the matching pendant necklace. The earrings are not large, nor is it small...about a half inch I'd estimate (without having it here to measure). The casting is intricate with detail you do not see in other sea turtle jewelry. The blue-green translucent enamel adds to the beauty of the piece and the white topaz eye adds sparkle. The fact that it is Guy Harvey and can be registered as a limited edition piece of art makes it that much more attractive.I gave the set to my wife as a retirement gift and in spite of the fact that she has diamond, emerald, sapphire, and other precious stone necklaces and earrings, she says this set is her favorite (for a TON less money). You really have to see it in person to get the full effect. Buy one before they are all gone so you will have a piece that becomes even more valuable as a piece of heirloom or collector's jewelry!

I received this as a gift and unfortunately had to return it. The sea turtle is tiny in comparison to the 'hoop.' The hoop itself is extremely thick in addition to being very long. I felt like I was trying to shove a (thick) paperclip into my ear. Not that I've put a paperclip in my ear... It felt very uncomfortable once in. And the hoop was very obvious behind the turtle since it is so large. Very disappointed.
