I purchased this for a gift. That person wears a lot of blue colors so this will go along with their color choices. The piece isn't too over sized or heavy - just a tad bit larger than a quarter and about the thickness of two quarters. It has smooth round edges. The center hole is also smooth to the touch. Not rough. The cord the stone is attached to isn't a traditional cord though it is cord with a shiny exterior finish. The length of the necklace is adjustable so depending on the neckline of the clothing, the necklace can be worn to accommodate the adjustment. It's a lovely necklace. If you purchase one, you will be pleased.

As the photo shows there's lots of cord length available. I shortened it to help show the size of the glass. The shade of green is beautiful. The necklace is exactly what I was hoping for. It brings up memories of camping trips, beach walks, and beach combing.

I absolutely love the simplicity of these. They are well made and make a huge statement without being too loud of that makes sense. We bought all six colors for all the cousins getting together for a trip to the beach but now I’m going to get them for the adults too. They adjust in size and are going to last forever.
