I bought one of these for my son who is 8, thinking that even though it was not expensive it wouldn’t matter because he’s 8! However I was SO impressed with the quality of the medal and the chain that I bought a second one for my husband who is a police officer. It’s a great weight, not flimsy or easily broken. I would’ve paid the price for just the chain, it’s that good! Very pleased!

The gift was for my young grandson age 8. The chain was definitely too heavy and bulky for him. I got some simple chain and made him a second smaller chain he can use now and save the bigger chain for when he becomes a teenager. The pendant is a little on the thick side, but he loved it.
