Packaging was done with care - the three layers were separated so that there were no tangles prior to first wear.Stored necklace the same way after wearing to keep tangles from occurring.Used this to link the shoulders on the back of a backless dress to keep the sleeves from slipping off my shoulders and exposing 'the girls'. Had many compliments on the "back"-lace.
