Very lovey necklace. I have had a similar one on my wish list for a long time as a memorial for my late kitty. But it is costly and I am broke. Then this one came up for much less cost. It is beautiful in person and well made. I did put a small chain extender on it for a little bit more length, but that is just personal preference, nothing against the workmanship of the necklace.

I do believe the necklace is real sterling silver. A few others have claimed that it "changed colors" and while sterling silver won't turn you "green" or cause an allergic reaction, it WILL tarnish. Sweat, certain types of water and chemicals will most definitely change the color of sterling silver but it should be clean up easily. Both cat charm and box chain have the sterling silver stamp and neither were attracted to a magnet. A few people also said that the chain caused a skin irritation but that's the nature of box chains. They can catch, pinch and even have a saw like affect on delicate skin. The cat charm is very substantial and the box chain is surprisingly sturdy- if not 1 mm then very close. I ordered two as gifts and I am very pleased with them- especially for the price. I did select the gift box and cleaning cloth add-on option and box is very cute with a ribbon that unfortunately, has to be untied to check item. Cleaning cloth is very small but should still work fine. No complaints, highly recommend!

The chain is super short and made me break out in a rash. Kinda frustrating when it’s supposed to be hypoallergenic. I love the charm though. It’s so cute!

The item is pictured may lead you to believe it's larger than it really is. However the measurements in the description are accurate. VERY cute! It's just that people need to get quite close to see that it's a cat. Chain is gorgeous . I would love to find one that's a little bigger!
