Swan came in just as it showed on the purchase page. It's a nice swan, and I love to have options that aren't hearts or initials. The swan looks to be as represented online, thought the chain feels a little shorter than I'm used to. It's light weight, and not as solid as I hoped, but still is a nice swan and has a nice feel to it. It's not snagging on anything. I don't see a makers mark anywhere, and this has been common place in recent years. It has not tarnished or dulled after a few days wear though. I think with daily wear it would fade eventually, and I say that because there is no makers mark. It is a nice piece, and the price is well done. I think it's a nice piece overall.

The design of this necklace is very cute, from the chain to the pendant. The swan has an artistic style to the design so it doesn't really look like a swan from some angles. It doesn't bother me at all, I kinda like this creative style. Everything else is as described.However, none of the seller's pictures show this but the back of the swan pendant is hollow and unpolished. I have no doubt it is to reduce the amount of silver used but it makes the necklace feel cheap like costume jewelry. It's completely hidden and doesn't affect the look of the necklace, but it lowers my perception of it's quality.

I was really surprised that another reviewer said the necklace doesn't look like the stock photo - it looks EXACTLY like the stock photo, the same proportions and accurate sizing. It's very cute! The black and gold contrast are lovely. It looks classy and very reasonable for the price, but I admit that after holding it and putting it on, I don't think I would personally pay that much for it. It's quite simple and lightweight, and it's not even gold-filled; it's just gold-plated sterling silver, which means that with regular wear, that gold is going to fade. It does have a nice chain that doesn't seem too flimsy. I'm allergic to nickel and it seems to pass the test!

The swan is so pretty and the gold is nice and shine. The chain is adjustable. Comes in a pretty gift box - great as a gift for your wife, daughter or girlfriend.
