I, an entire grown human, got these for myself to wear around Valentine's Day because I'm unapologetically unhinged in terms of being as ridiculous as necessary to chase that joy. I'm not a hearts year-round kind of person, but February that all goes out the window. (If you're a hearts year-round person, good on you and keep doing you as loudly as possible!)These come in a green velvet bag that contains a leather-like hinge box, inside which is a plastic baggie that contains these earrings (it's a divided baggie, one of the ones with two zip closures to keep earrings separate so they don't scratch each other). When I opened the hinge box, I'm pretty sure I lost a plastic earring back, and I still have one, so (1) be careful when you open that box and (2) these seem to come with a spare (plastic) set of backs. The presentation is maybe excessive for the price point, and I usually grumble about money in boxes instead of in earrings, but here I'm going to change my tune. (Temporarily. Oscar the Grouchette will return anon.)So I think these are a great treat yourself choice, of course, if this is your thing (Feb or otherwise), and also a great gift choice for younger earring wearers and other grown humans who like hearts (again, year-round or no). Particularly for the younger wearers, I think the packaging is nice because the unboxing experience is part of learning to appreciate and care for semi-precious to precious jewelry. If it's a V-Day (or other occasion) present for a young wearer, all the better, because they're also learning how *they* should expect to be treated, and that is ALSO with care and respect (as in not necessarily the most expensive gift wins, but that all gifts are treated thoughtfully and presented nicely because it's what they - as in the kids, later adults - deserve). It's never too early to learn that you're worthy of some effort. So, $16 earrings are absolutely fine, even as an adult, especially if there are budget limitations, AND ALSO they can be wrapped nicely and presented with some care, because the experience of receiving a gift is about more than the cost of the item.But back on topic. The stones here are cut nicely and have good refraction and they're solid in the setting. The posts are stamped 925 and don't seem to be magnetically reactive (it's harder to test on stud earrings but these didn't give a wiggle at all). They are what they say they are, and at the price, they look really quite good. They're large enough not to be lost on an adult human, but not too large for a reasonably young wearer (maybe not, say, kindergarten, but certainly middle school and maybe older elementary school).I'm not one to sling 5-star reviews as a matter of normal business, but these, at the price, are easily a 9/10, maybe 9.5/10

These are sweet little heart shaped birthstone earrings. I got the amethyst color CZ and it's a solid purple like an amethyst would be, and very sparkly. The stones are set in a 3-prog base that is supposed to be sterling silver. No reactions or sensitivities to the metal were experienced when I wore them. They have a notched earring back which helps secure the earrings in place. They are very small but decent quality for the price and I am happy with them.

I ordered these heart shaped birthstone earrings for my birth month of August, which is Peridot. These are very nice earrings, they are well made and come with the metal backings. They don’t irritate my ears at all while wearing and the backs stay on tightly. They also come in a box to keep them in. Very nice earrings.
