I rarely say this about jewelry I find on Amazon, but I really could not find anything wrong with these earrings, or anything about them that made them less than giftable. They come in a decent (albeit not super fancy) box with a velvet backer. The only negative thing I have to say about the packaging is that the backer and box could be a bit thicker or taller - currently it kind of seems like the manufacturer was trying to minimize costs on packaging and it seems a little underwhelming. The earrings are cute, elegant, and lightweight. The hooks fit smoothly though my thick and long earlobes without issue (they were the perfect thickness), and the earrings come with thick rubber backings as well in case you'd like to secure them in your ears. Once they fit through the earlobes, you could barely feel them on your ears aside from the slight movement of the pearls, but they don't drag heavily on the earlobes, which is a huge upside for those who, like myself, hate earrings that are heavy and drag down the lobes. These earrings are fancy, but not so over the top you can't wear them to the office or for a casual occasion, and just look nice in an understated way. The only downside might be that they don't have a highly distinctive or unique design (you've probably seen this type of silhouette or design style before), but that should be fine for someone who has a conservative sense of style and just wants jewelry to dress things up a bit, but in an understated and minimal way. They're not a huge design statement, but not everyone wants to stand out. I'd say these are comfortable, presentable, and very giftable. Considering the gold plating, and the genuine baroque pearls used, I'd say they're reasonably priced as well. You can't go terribly wrong with buying these, or gifting them to someone.

The media could not be loaded.  The design of these earrings was really well thought out, the baroque shape has a unique shape and style that is different for each pearl. This set has a flat side on each, so the designer made the flat side on the back of the earring so this is the side that will touch the skin. The beauty of the pearl is the luster, which is improved over time by the porous nature and is increased by absorbing the oil from our skin, so having these designed to have the broad flat surface set against my skin, will ensure the pearl remains well moisturized and over time it can have a bit of me within the pearl. This is not something that I have seen with all affordable pearl jewelry, because this takes additional time and care, so I was quite pleased to see this.The style of the hooks has a wider top to show off more of the gold and the stones have a well-cut surface to really sparkle. This really brings out the pearl's luster, so I am excited to see how these will look in a few years. As long as I don't get any perfume or shower with them, they will really become amazing. The only downside I have is a personal preference. I would have preferred if these remained sterling silver, rather than being coated with gold. The pearl and stones would have been complimented with the understated silvertone rather than the bolder gold coloration. This is my personal preference so I am not marking them down at all. That would have been a reduction in material and work to do, so maybe later this can be a different option. The craftsmanship is well done, there are not any loose connections, the stone is well set without any concern of falling out and even the connection rings are solid without any seams. This is really surprising considering the value these are offered at.

These earrings are beautiful. They are well made and super lightweight. They come in a small gift box, that would be great if you're gifting this item. I was able to put them on immediately and admire myself. The pearls are pretty and uniquely shaped. The diamond sparkles and gives it that extra touch of fun. I wear these on regular days and special days. I don't notice them as I'm working, they just give me a little dazzle and I can wear them effortlessly.

They look very nice, but the very symmetric look as advertised is not as similar to what I received. To be clear, not a deal breaker, just be ready to get something a bit more organic shaped. I'm assuming these are cultured pearls and that to achieve the pear shape requires oblong shell seeds. That then can cause some very unique shapes as a result. I almost think that this makes them more legitimate as there are just tons of perfect tear shapes and spheres.
