I wanted to like this pendent, but the rose gold plating erred on the copper side instead of the gold. So it made the the overall piece seem cheaper. Which is unfortunate because it beautifully crafted in terms of the silversmithing, however, somehow the rose gold doesn’t appear have the softness that make the metal look elevated. Instead, it makes it appear that the base metal is peering its way through the surface. I will say the polishing department did earn their keep on this piece. It’s show car shiny! I think that if I we’re considering this as gift I would go with the gold or white variant as they probably appear more elevated and expensive.Additionally, I understand the packaging gimmick but that’s exactly what it feels like, a gimmick. I really feel that for the price point at this is offered the jeweler would greatly benefit from simplicity and probably appeal to a more discerning audience who are looking to wow the receiver and make it feel good more expensive with out paying as much. The packing downgrades the item as a whole makes it seem throw away or something you kindly say thank you and keep it in the pack if the jewelry drawer never to be sent again.I think this product has great potential to appeal a market with more disposable income and could be a bestseller for the company if it had these elements considered.
