This medal has beautiful detail and is has a nice shiny finish. The chain is delicate also very pretty in detail. The medal is on the smaller size which is what I wanted, no bigger than your thumbnail size. I am very happy with the necklace, the only thing I am not satisfied with is the clasp. The spring opens and closes fairly well but the other end has an oblong type of ring which is a bit thick making it hard to clasp the necklace. I have to turn it to the front and look in a mirror to get it to clasp and it takes a little bit of finagling to get it inside. I will probably buy a better chain with an easier clasp. Other than that, it is a very pretty and dainty medal and looks very pretty on. Overall happy with purchase.
