It's a little different than pictured. The stone is more red than pictured. What's pictured looks like a garnet, but when you get it it looks like a fake ruby. (For the price I wasn't expecting real gems.) The gain is not the same as pictured. I got a thicker almost tube like chain, but not a braided chain. The chain isnt very long, which is ok by me. The actual locket itself is also a little more tear drop shipped than pictured. The picture it looks perfectly round. (I really wish they had shown more pictures on the listing!) The locket opens and closes nicely and the magnetic closure is good. It does come with the herb as depicted, and they've done a nice job of packaging that in a mini ziplock which you can actually fit inside the locket too if you want. (I was worried if the herb was loose that it would leak out.) It also comes in a nice little black velvet jewelry box. It would make a nice gift for a friend, or a stocking stuffer.
