I love this watch, it looks the bollocks, and feels premium. I’ve heard that Seiko bracelets in this price range can be janky, but this one feels great, no need to upgrade. The bezel action is great and rotates easily but good positive stops. I wasn’t so sure about the design of the monster at first but really fell in love with this watch when I saw it.

i got a collection of sportures and i wanted a diver and this is what i bought. and i an so glad i did ,you dont see one of this kind of watch every day. a PADI rated chronograph.it looks very good on my wrist,it has a nice feel and weight ,lighter than expected. some people say the band is a hair grabber but i have never had that problem with any seiko that i had warn in the last 30 years . So if you want a watch that subtle yet outstanding and best of all nice on your wrist this is it

I have an '09 Monster which is still going strong, so i decided add a new cousin to the collection. My first impression of this PADI Monster was one of jewelry more than tool watch -- but actually the watch is both. The stunning blue bezel and nice bracelet really stand out, especially in outdoor light. Some things i like: the red minute hand for legibility, blue lume, cyclops, solid links, and "Made in Japan" on the dial. So far my accuracy is +3 seconds a day, which is great. I have a small wrist and it wears well. This watch is a "Special Edition" so it may be produced for only a year. Recommended.

Nothing really to complain about. You can’t ask for more at this price range. Some people complain about the magnifying candy bar on the day/date but being 49, I really appreciate it. The buckle can be improved a little but for the price I really have no complaints. Seiko toughness and reliability, great looking piece and excellent price. What’s not to like?

Beautiful Watch, Seems Sturdy. Loses ~3 minutes a day, even when I wind it regularly. Not the quality I expect from Japanese craftmanship so that leads me to think it must be counterfeit. Wrote to the seller multiple times through Amazon - no response. Called Seiko, they confirmed seller is an authorized dealer. Learned my lesson - a watch is something you should buy directly from an authorized dealer. BEWARE
