I was impressed by this locket. It actually came on a thin chain, but I took it off and put it on a bracelet. It is difficult to open, which is a plus as it is meant to have something inside (photos, etc) so that tells me it would protect those items. I didn't put anything in mine, rather I like the design with the stethoscope and the cross. I think it is rather high priced, but decent quality.

I chose Style A - Stethoscope locket only. This is a non-flashy way of being able to say thank you and support her for the hard work she puts in. She didn't realize what it was for at first, until she noticed the stethoscope and the caduceus on it, at which point she was absolutely thrilled. Unlike a card or coffee mug, this is something she can keep with her wherever she goes.

This is perfect for a nurse. It has a stethoscope, a Cadeusus, and a cross on the front. It comes in a beautiful gift box and a gift bag is also included. It is difficult to open and a tool that looks like a guitar pick is supplied so you don't break your fingernails. Whatever you decide to put inside will not fall out because the locket stays securely closed. If you don't get the engraved version, you can put one of your own pictures in it. There is no separate frame to hold the picture in. The end of the extender is plain. I added a little silver flower charm for a more finished look. This locket is very well made and the chain is not lightweight. I highly recommend it.

I adore this locket. As an RN of many years and a Christian, I am so very proud to wear this lovely piece of jewelry. The locket face has a stylized stethoscope, a caduceus, and a cross on it. It is silver and comes with a sturdy chain. The design looks antique and makes one think of something a warrior might wear when going into battle. I think this is a wonderful gift for a nurse friend or family member who is a traditionalist.
