I like the overall design of these sterling silver earrings, but there is always a risk with huggie style clasps. I was disappointed to find that the hinges are very loose on both earrings. You can wiggle them back and forth way too easily, which means they can eventually snap in half. Also, the clasp on one earring was totally broken and wouldn't snap onto my ear. Because I'm a jewelry designer I was able to fix it so that it would clasp together. However, it doesn't close as securely as it should and it never quite will. So one earring snaps closed and the other one doesn't, although it does now stay closed.I love how extremely lightweight these earrings are; the chains are astonishingly light! So they feel like nothing in my ears and I like that. They're delicate and pretty. I just wish the quality was a lot better. I would not recommend these earrings to others.
