I work outdoors in all sorts of environments. Summer hot heat to winter cold snow. My job doesn't lend to dresses, nice shoes or fancy handbags. Nevertheless, I don't like feeling like I haven't made some sort of an effort. Who wants to look like a grub all the time. So, I use this pin as a brooch. Button up dress shirt or work shirt or jacket/coat and I place it like a cameo. And boom - my work shirt/jacket now looks spot on more professional and I feel a bit more put together. This a statement piece. It's going to add WOW factor to whatever you choose to wear it with. It isn't subtle. It says, "I'm gorgeous green!" Would look fabulous on a scarf or a smart Chanel type jacket. And it'll lend itself to all sorts of fashion. Add it to a summer dress at the cleavage or beltline. Pin it on a strong felt hat in Autumn. I wasn't a big fan of the pin attachment so be a bit careful; I've worn mine several times now. With that said it isn't soldered on, so the pin isn't attached to the clasp. It is important to know this because that pin can come off. It hasn't affected the ability for me to wear it, but it is a FLAW. A bit of a pain to get that pin back into position. Nevertheless, 'cb' that's me! I recommend this beautiful brooch.

This is a reasonably priced beautiful piece of costume jewelry But I will wear for the first time tomorrow night. Not sure how adorable it will be but it looks great! Very happy with it.The only issue I had with it was getting it to stay clipped. The hook portion that the end of the pin hooks into it’s not bent over far enough to keep the clip from unhooking while wearing it.I had to re-fastened it several times while wearing it
