Back in 1982 I bought a Seiko digital diver watch. It was easily the best watch I ever owned. I had it refurbished twice. I tried a third time but they no longer had the parts. I had it for 32 years.I decided to buy this assuming this would be more or less an equivalent. I WAS WRONG! I could never get it to completely charge. Thus at night, when I was in bed, the charge would only last a half hour after I turned the light out. Because of this I sent it back to Seiko. When they returned it nothing had changed. A month ago I dropped it on a carpeted floor and the glass broke. I sent it back to Seiko to be repaired. The part is arriving on a slow boat from China in another 2 months. In conclusion the watch is hard to read. It has limited charging capacity. You would be much better off buying a solar watch from Casio or Citizen. They actually work.
