They are so lightweight it's almost like they are not made of metal, but they are! Titanium is a magic metal. And they are externally threaded!!! It's hard to find externally threaded in titanium and they are so much easier to put on than the more common internally threaded. And they come as a pair, so you don't have to buy them individually like so many gauged jewelry pieces, if you're buying them to wear as earrings. So great!!

There's no way that these are real titanium as they were NOT hypoallergenic.

I always use earrings with a screw back, and i lost one of these earrings the first day I wore them. I am familiar with making sure they are screwed together properly, but one of them has been lost.
