There are a few reviews saying they lost these or they fell off. Well all I can say is that its possible, but maybe you need to do a better job of securing them. The metal is extremely sturdy so you should be able to adjust them to stay put. I would not suggest putting them on a thin part of your earlobe, they will fall off for sure if you do that. And it makes sense to check them periodically to make sure they are still in place. They will work for what I need them for and I am not going to expect more from them than I should. If I lose one I will not be complaining. Its possible and I understand that. I am about to buy a second set.

I got these to use as a fake lip ring for a costume and it worked great for that! They're easy to gently push/pull apart to adjust the size without getting damaged.
