It is a well-known fact that many wealthy people, (but not all, of course), when going "out" (on the town), prefer to keep their real jewellery in a bank, (or house), safe, whilst wearing immitation jewellery to their engagements. I have absolutely no idea whatsoever, whether this is what the English Royal Family does this or not -- but, looking at this "DIANA INSPIRED RING WITH BLUE SAPPHIRE C.Z. INCLUDES GIFT BOX, I begin to think that, should the English Royal Family ever decide to wear only immitation jewellery whilst on engagements, (or, just in case they do this now), this simple, $29.95 ring would be an EXCELLENT, look-alike substitute!Pictures taken by cameras, it is said, add ten pounds to anyone having their picture taken. Again, I don't know if this well-known adage is true, (or always true) -- but it DOES seem very true for the ring pictured here. The ring that I received, at least, was far less round, and far more oval, (ie: more like the original!), than is pictured here. For me, this is a DEFINITE plus. Because what _I_ want in a replica Royal Engagement Ring, is a REPLICA. Something as CLOSE, in looks, to the original, as can be had. I did not, and do not, want an immitation. SO many "replica" rings ae NOT replicas at all. They are "inspirations" -- and just don't look like the original! On my ring, as well, the top small white stone, (as well as the bottom small white stone, is nicely centered --not slightly askew, as is pictured here. Another plus! : ) The part of the ring which actually encircles the finger, (is this called the shaft? is nice and narrow, as seen both in the picture, and on my ring.Just like on the original! (It is NOT split into two, or made thicker, or adorned with additinal stones, as I see in some "inspired" rings.) This part, (to happily repeat), is AS CLOSE to the original ring as can be! : )This ring also scrupulously copies the five prongs which hold each of the encircling white stones in place. It's nice to eee this, because this is not something most people notie -- except upon close examination. I have seen SO many other rings which have only three prongs holding each of the outside stones. This one factor alone shows, at least to me, that the manufacturer of this ring wanted it to be as close to the original as possible, as I myself wanted my own ring to be as close to the original as possible! Many thanks and kudos here! The fourteen beautuful prongs, encircling the centre blue stone, and holding it in place, are also here -- as they are in very, very few other rings which try, (but mostly fail), to be look-alikes. Forsome strange reason, however, the prongs are not long enough to actually "show" very well around the top stone. Actually, thisallows the centre stone to show all the more brightly, as its edges are not "bitten into" by visible prongs. Yes, it's prettier than the original, here -- but the shortness of the surrounding prongs, and their NOT showing on the face of the stone, is one thing that makes this ring look less like the original. However, the fourteen prongs on this ring -- just like the original -- can be seen nicely to advantage in a SIDE view of the ring, where -- again, just like on the original -- appearing at even intervals around the blue centre stone, they give the centre stone the lovely illusion of being a crown! The one other difference that I can see between the appearance of this ring, and the original, is that in this replica ring, the centre stone is of a "cushion" shape, (a rectangle with curved top and bottom ends), whereas in this replica, the centre stone is oval-shaped. Not really THAT much of a difference, but I suppose that oval stones are far easier to find, (and far less expensive), than "cushion-shaped" stones, and, by using an oval stone, (which -- except to admitted 'nit-pickers' like me, shouldn't matter all that much), I'm sure a lot of money was saved by the manufacturer -- who very kindly passed his savings along to us, his customers!I have seen many, many "replica-rings-that-are-not-replicas", costing far more than this ring does. For value, and for a ring that looks as close to the original ring as you can get at this price, THIS is the ring to buy! { : )

I had been on the hunt for an excellent replica of Princess Diana's, and now Princess Catherine's, engagement ring; I searched all over the Internet in hopes of finding one that would look very close to, if not exactly like, the real one. Many replicas that I found were merely "inspired" versions, some with split shanks, others with tiny center stones (or stones that were round or cushion-cut), and many of them selling for more than I would care to pay for an "inspired" ring that didn't even come close to Kate's. Some of these rings had very small sapphires, yet I would have had to pay through the nose--and maybe give up some vital organs--just to own a ring that had the original's price tag, but none of its looks!I came close on a couple of occasions, but the cost was just a tad much, and I had missed a chance for a ring with a slightly lower price tag than the others on which I had set my sights as possibilities for purchase. I feared I wouldn't ever find a near-perfect replica with a price that was reasonable enough. Then I found THIS ring...I read the customer reviews and thought to myself, "Why not? I'll take my chances." So I placed an order. Not only did my ring arrive in three days, when the projected date of delivery was estimated between May 24th and May 28th, but it's more beautiful than I could have pictured it. The rich, deep sapphire hue of the center stone is mesmerizing, and the surrounding clear stones sparkle like real diamonds, while the sizes almost perfectly match those of the stones set into Kate's ring. For just about $30, I received a ring that has nothing "cheap" about it as far as appearances; if you want a replica that has all the beauty and class of Kate Middleton's engagement ring, look no further than here. As my title says, this ring is, quite simply and truly, THE BEST.

I've been on the hunt for a Diana/Kate replica ring for a while, and after comparing a bunch of rings on a bunch of sites (Overstock, Qvc, etc), I went with this one because it had a number of good reviews, and no negative ones (most of the other sites had at least a handful of really negative reviews, either about the color of the stone ("it's purple!", "it's so dark it's black!") or about the craftsmanship of the ring in general, which made me very wary. With a ring this famous, and this huge, I was really worried that it would come off looking like cheap plastic, the kind you'd normally get for costume jewelry. When this ring arrived though, I was SO GLAD I ordered this one -- it's amazing!! The ring weighs and feels solid, and the stone is beautiful, rich blue. On my finger, the color is a darker blue, but off and in the light, it's a beautiful clear bright cobalt. The gem is NOT dull or plastic looking, but really solid and shiny, and gives the appearance of a real sapphire. The diamonds around it are also really sparkly, which again, I love because they don't look like dull plastic. The size is perfect -- it's actually right around the exact size of the real thing (based on photos I've seen), which I adore. All in all, if you're looking for a replica ring, you really just can't beat the design of this one. And the price is pretty awesome too.

This was a gift, and turned my Aunts finger green after just 2 days. It may be a sensitivity with her, but I would not repurchase.

I loved the ring so much. Extremely beautiful and fit perfectly. The only thing is that started to make a rusty sign on finger after the 3rd time of wearing it. Still love it and was hoping to find it in sterling silver

I was pleased with the ring until it turned a copper color instead of silver. If I don't turn my hand over maybe noone will notice. It looks very cheap now. I know it was cheap but I was hoping it wouldn't be so obvious.

Ring is beautiful and bountiful! It’s a large statement piece…..buying for a costume party. Stones are REALLY big and eye catching.
