Round-Cut

The Cut is the most important item in 4C, which refers to the mutual reflection of the cut surface of the diamond and light. It is determined by the degree of symmetry, the accuracy of the proportions and the degree of polishing. Compared to any other factor, the cut highlights the fineness of the diamond.

Clarity

Diamond clarity is a measure of the purity and rarity of a diamond, and is graded according to characteristics observed under a 10x magnifier. A flawless grade (FL) is when the diamond has no inclusions (internal flaws) and no surface features (external flaws) under a 10x magnifying glass.

Color

The color refers to the natural tone of white diamonds.

In nature, most white diamonds are a bit yellowish. The closer the diamond is colorless, the rarer it becomes. The industry standard for measuring color is to evaluate each diamond against a "colorstone" and grade the color with the letters D (colorless) to Z (light yellow).

Carat Weight

Diamonds are calculated in carats, not sizes. 1 carat = 200 mg = 0.2 g, Carat weight is reflected differently in different diamond shapes, such as round brilliant cut, princess cut, oval cut, emerald cut, Radiant Bright Cut or heart-shaped cut. A diamond that does not look very large may have a high carat weight, while two diamonds of the same carat weight may have different sizes if one of them is cut deeper. That said, it's worth noting that carat weight does not necessarily affect size. The goal of diamond cutting is to maximize the beauty of diamonds, not to preserve carat weight.
