The earring came in ruby/ were not a bright red. More of a toned down red. I got the rose gold setting and that looks great. They are comfortable. The backs go on a bit tight, but with use they might loosen up a bit. But they certain won't come off by accident. The are nice for the reasonable price. They come with a small pouch if you want to give them as a gift.
