I like this elegant looking earrings. The green color is really striking. I have been looking for this shape and color for a while, and this one fits the search. My only complaint is the part where you have to push it into the ear piercing, that part is too, and way too sharp. I wish it was a bit thicker, it’s like a very very thin needle. I can’t lay down with the earrings on, as I can feel a pin prick at the back of my ear. Other than this issue, it’s a 4 star in my book.

Beautiful in the box, they didn't look too big to me. I took them out and they didn't seem too heavy.For some reason, I don't know if it has to do with the size or the shape of the post, I struggled to get them on. Once they were on, my earlobes felt irritated, but it may have been due to the fact that I struggled to get them on.Overall, I'm surprised, although I loved it in the box, they feel kind of awkward to wear. Unless you tighten the back of the post uncomfortably tight, the earring tilts. It pulls and feels a bit heavy on my ear. I'm a person who does not like large or heavy earrings, so although they're beautiful, I'm not sure I'll be able to get used to the way they feel. I'll update my review and my rating if anything changes.

I love abalone, and when I saw these, I knew they were just the color I needed, to go with some of the new summer shirts I have gotten recently. These are eye catching and yet simple and very comfortable to wear. The seller included both metal and rubber backs, which I always like to mention, since everyone has their own preference. I usually prefer rubber backs, but these did not come with the typical butterfly metal clutch backs I find uncomfortable to work with, but instead those metal backs that are in the shape of coins, which are much easier to deal with and which can also support larger, heavier earrings. I will probably wind up using these metal backs with other earrings, as well. The gold frame around the abalone is gorgeous, and I am just loving wearing these. They came in a box, so no need to worry that they might just be sent out in a bubble bag, leaving them vulnerable to getting crushed, and your winding up with an earring with a less then straight post. It's all good, with this pair of earrings. Happy!

My wife really wanted to love these earrings.The idea is good, and they are quite pretty, but they don’t look good on my wife’s tiny ears.These are not small, dainty studs. My wife neglected to read the measurements in the product description (her fault) and would not have ordered these had she known the size. She was looking for studs she could wear to work, which according to her work place dress code, must be smaller than a dime. These are not smaller than a dime.My wife does enjoy the occasional pair of large statement earrings, but unfortunately these just don’t work for her small, round ear shape. They are heavy and drag her ears down. If the posts were placed further down on the earring, or they were half the size, my wife would love these. They are very lovely.It’s too bad, because they look well made, with nice packaging and ear backs (even a bonus extra pair). They just don’t work for my wife.
