I'm in the process of trying to get all my jewelry in zipper bags with these tabs but haven't gotten to everything yet. To illustrate how well these work: I keep my gold and silver earrings in separate velvet grid boxes with glass lids (so I can quickly find what I'm looking for). The objective is for each grid space to house one pair, each earring in a small separate bag, separate from it's mate, to protect the metals from touching. When I was riffling through the silver box I saw that I had one pair where one earring was sitting unbagged against the other, which was bagged-&-tabbed. Both earrings had been cleaned before being dropped in the grid box. The bagged earring had zero tarnish. NONE. The UNbagged earring was covered with yellow & black discoloration. Yeah, these tabs are great. Just know if you have a lot of jewelry that's been sitting around getting dirty, before you bag-and-tab you've got a lot of work to do first (jewelry cleaning/storage knowlege obtained frim G*ogle, cleaning supplies obtained from Amazon). But everything you clean first then b-&-t'd, will be clean, fresh, and ready to wear when you go for it. You'll really have success keeping your jewelry ready to wear if you immediately take it off at the end of the day, clean the pieces gently with a microfiber cloth, and put them back in their respective bags, forcing out all the air as you zip the bags closed. I keep all my jewelry in plastic organizers with these tabs in each space. My costume jewelry stays looking new longer and my fine jewelry doesn’t tarnish when stored with these anti tarnish tabs.

Who knew there was such a thing!!!! Glad I found them. They do stop my silver jewelry from tarnishing. No, if the jewelry is already tarnished you have to clean it first, this is not untarnished it! I place one in each of my jewelry draws that hold silver jewelry. Wish there was some way to put them on my earring tree though.

I think that they will work. The ones I bought before kept the head pins and eye pins as well as other jump rings and findings for jewelry construction from tarnishing.
