I purchased this necklace almost exactly a year ago and it has held up to wearing it every day in the shower, sleeping, swimming etc. Over the past couple months it has started chipping off the black gun plating and exposing the gold so I'm purchasing another one because I just love it so much. I get a lot of compliments and it's simple and goes so well with my black ear jewelry. Totally worth the buy and definitely cheap for the wearability of this product
