The backside of the pendant is plain, but not unfinished as I've seen with other similar items. It has been polished. The chain is fine, but not flimsy.At $60, I think this is slightly over-priced, but you may think otherwise.Overall, this is a very nice and attractive necklace and a worthy gift to your loved one.
