I've never been to Rome, but I have a friend that has, and she brought me back a rosary from a stand that had been blessed by the pope, in a little box. It was nothing like this.This rosary comes in a small box with padding, secured in a large sturdy cardboard box with a bespoke piece of cardboard below and above. There's a sliding wrapper around the main box noting the store. Inside the box are not only the rosary, but also material noting that the rosary has been blessed, a gift bag, a "how to say the rosary" booklet (with color illustrations), and documentation regarding the lifetime warranty.The rosary itself is of lovely symmetrical black Murano beads with sparkling brown highlights. There's a Madonna medal, but it doesn't hang so low that it will catch on clothing or other items. And with a clasp, it's suitable for wearing as a bracelet or keeping on your nightstand. It makes a special gift or item to keep, with all that you need to feel comfortable saying the rosary.

This is my 6th item from this company all prior being rosaries. I have been very happy with all the other items so decided to pick this one up also. The unique pattern of the glass beads really stands out and it's an attention grabber. The quality and craftsmanship are outstanding as is all their items. Looking back on my youth I would have loved to receive something like this for my first communion or even Holy confirmation. This would also be a nice gift given to a couple for their child's baptism, it would also make a nice gift for child or young adult. I love mine and I am not young, and I have this placed around two small urns that hold my mom's ashes and her sisters' ashes. Even in their passing I am keeping their circle close as they spent most of their lives 300 feet apart in different homes. So that's another use of an item like this as a tribute with an urn. I have been blessed to own several different Mondo Cattolico rosaries which have all been amazing and all have their own beautiful qualities, but this is my first rosary bracelet and I find it stunning. The beads are so gorgeous with the sparkles and color choices and the metal used really go well with the beads overall in my opinion as well. You don’t have to be catholic to appreciate the beauty of this. Instead of wearing my grandmothers ones I choose to wear this instead just in case something happens. The glass beads are really pretty and unique, the bracelet is made well and I think the price point is justified.
