I love this necklace- I just wish the chain was a little thicker but otherwise I wear this daily:)Update: had less than a week before the chain broke. So very sad, as it is so small I cannot repair it on my own. Keeping the 5 stars as it is still a favorite, and hoping they will upgrade the product for longevity….

Gorgeous! I’m a scientist and do a lot of recruiting while speaking to other scientists via zoom. The charm is large enough that it’s visible, but not overpowering. It’s a fantastic conversation starter! I purchased the rose gold and the chain is longer than I’m used to seeing when I buy necklaces on Amazon. I don’t have the worlds skinniest neck, so I like them a little longer. It feels very durable and almost looks like a $50 gift from Etsy. On the fence? Just do it!

Whether you're into science or not I think this is a great necklace. If it's recognized as a serotonin molecule meaning happiness, then awesome, you have a cool, pretty, scientific necklace that shows its meaning to the world. If it's recognized as a molecule of some sort but not the specific type, then people will still think it's cool you have a pretty, science themed necklace and will probably ask you what it means (conversation starter right there.) And lastly, if someone looks at it but doesn't recognize it as a scientific symbol, it's still a pretty, delicate geometric shape necklace that looks super cool. It's sturdy and the metal is beautifully bright and shiny.
