HOW TO USE MALA BEADS

It may look easy but it takes dedication and focus and most importantly time to reach maximum potential using mala beads. The more you will practice, the more you will learn to connect with your mind, body and spirit.

• Find a quiet and comfortable spot and sitting position.
• Close your eyes and take some deep breaths; try to align yourself with your intention.
• Choose a mantra and recite it quietly or out loud.
• Hold your Mala Prayer beads in your right hand. The thumb is used to count each bead, starting with the Guru (biggest) bead.
• Every time you touch a new bead, recite a mantra or prayer .
• Each bead gets its own inhale and exhale.
• Keep repeating it till you have gone around and are back at the Guru (biggest) bead.
• If you want another go again, start in reverse.
• Another option is to forgo any mantra and focus on meditation.
