Amazon was slow to ship. They in fact did not even ship until they day it was originally supposed to arrive. With that said however, I am glad that I waited instead of canceling from frustration. The cross is the perfect size for a guy and feels substantial and rugged. (This is the one without the outer trim). The chain also seems pretty heavy duty. I have worn it nonstop since getting it about a week ago and it appears to put up with the rigors of my busy and physical schedule. I am ordering more as gifts after writing this review. I do indeed recommend.
