Although the color is not as pink as in Amazon's picture, these earrings are definitely rose gold and have a great shine. I placed mine next to a rose gold ring, and they match in color. The 5 mm size is versatile; it will work in either my top or lower ear piercing. There is a 14K mark on the earring backs, which while on the smaller side, grip very well. For the price, at $23.75, given the price of gold, I consider these to be an excellent purchase.January 18, 2014 update: It took me a while to figure this out, but this is such a good price that my BFF should have a pair for her birthday. The one thing that could be improved is the gift box because they put two stickers on it which do not come off very well.February 19, 2014 update: Just another comment, that the length of the posts on these earrings is virtually identical to posts on my other earrings; these posts are not short.

I never expected that my pierced ears would grow shut again if I didn’t keep earrings in them; well they did and they had been pierced for 42 yrs.! Who knew? Anyway, I re-pierced them and I needed something to wear on a daily basis so that didn’t have them close again. I also have to keep gold or platinum in my ears otherwise they will become infected. I found these cute little rose gold balls. They go with everything and they serve as a great place holder until I change them out for diamond studs or gold hoops on a night out. They don’t bother me while I am asleep either. These were a Perfect solution to my problem—I don’t have to worry about loosing diamond studs and they keep my ear piercings open and they won’t grow back. Great purchase and money well spent!

These are great stud earrings. I bought these to use in my second holes. Love them!! These are just the right size, not too small, but big enough that they are seen. Shiny, and the rose color is noticeable. They make great earrings for second piercings, but would also work for those with single piercings. Well made, have not issues, great idea for gifts as they do not cost a lot of money.

I'm happy with these earrings and the price was great. The rose color is just right to match the necklace I bought these earrings to go with, and I am happy with the size. Just a few things that caused me to give them a lower star rating. Most important is that the posts are very short... seems they may be better suited for kids... I can wear them but I will probably be checking to make sure they are still there all the time. Less important (at least to me) is that they seem to be closer to 4mm than 5mm. I compared them to several other pairs of earrings I have that I have accurately measured before. Not a big deal to me because I prefer subtlety. For me, between 4mm and 6mm is perfect... so if you want bigger, allow for the slight size disparity.

I really like these little ear baubles. I normally wear yellow gold or sterling exclusively. I wanted a change, and I wanted something that was very versatile that could be worn with most any attire. These lovely little studs fit the bill. They are a medium rosy gold. They are probably not as pink as they look on your computer monitor; however, monitors do differ in color intensity. Hold them up next to yellow or even white gold, and you will definitely know that they are indeed rose gold.In contradiction of some other reviews, I found the posts are long enough that they should fit most any size ear lobe. Maybe if someone has a rather thick lobe, these might be of a questionable length. They are 8mm long, and that is only 1mm shorter than my more expensive diamond ones. The backs are small and can be a bit tricky to hold onto, but are easily manageable. They are just under 5mm diameter, and most of my other earring backs are 6-7mm diameter. If you lose one, it might be hard to find. I frequently sleep in my earrings, and the burden of a cpap mask with straps that move around during the night. I have yet had one of these ear beauties come loose. They do stay put once they are placed on the post; however, I think I will invest in some larger rose gold backs!The balls have a lovely shine and look great with the 4mm ones if you have dual piercings on each ear. The earrings are well made, attractive and suitable for most any occasion. This is a good price, and I recommend them for all ages from teeny boppers to the mature lady. I guess even guys could wear them if they are brave enough to wear rose gold!!!

I purchased these for my future daughter-in-law for Christmas. She is fond of rose gold and her engagement set is rose gold. She put them on when she opened the gift and hasn't taken them out since. Totally worth the price and lovely.

These earrings are so pretty in person!! I love them. I am new to rose gold after wearing sterling and white gold for years. I don't care for yellow gold but find that rose gold has such a rich sheen to it. These earrings are good for the first hole, but a little too big for second or third holes. The color is beautiful and you cant beat the price! I'm so glad I got these!
