Yes, it is small. But not smaller than advertised, so if you read the description, you should be fine. The bail that connects it to the chain is surprisingly sturdy, which is nice. Not a cheap ring that can be pulled apart if it snags on clothing.Both chain and medal are extremely shiny. This means that while the detail is very nice, especially considering the size of the piece, it's hard to see. I will be slightly oxidizing mine to darken the outlines.

I love this necklace, perfect size and great price. The chain is a little delicate but still strong enough to wear every day. The clasp on the chain was the only issue i had thats why i gave 4 stars, the clasp is a little small and kind of hard to open so it can be a pain to put on and take off.

Nice silver but the medal is very small was going to gift it to someone but decided to return because of size very very small I should have read the fine print
