Purchased these as a gift for an 11 year old who just got her ears pierced. I like that they are very small. Will be all or mostly on the bottom part of the ear lobe, not hanging off. In my opinion they are not "little kid" nor too mature. As they were a gift, I cannot speak to the wear quality. My 11 year old daughter saw them and wants a pair for herself.
