Gorgeous earrings! I was hesitant to buy them because I feared that due to the somewhat larger size, they would look gaudy and cheap. They don't, and they're actually not that big. The size is perfect. They fit on a dime for the most part. Another reviewer said they were the size of a quarter. I took a picture with one sitting on top of a dime and the other on a quarter to give you a better idea of the actual size.I typically wear earrings that are more conservative and understated, but I'm starting to embrace bolder styles. I don't like big, flashy costume pieces. The smaller the jewelry, the more elegant and valuable it usually looks. However, there are times when you want your earrings to be noticed. These are much prettier and more unique than a plain amethyst stud. The individual stones are small, contributing to the overall delicate look of the flower. These are fun, versatile earrings that look great with jeans and a nice blouse, or even a formal dress. They are noticeable in an understated way that doesn't demand attention. Instead, they complement your overall look. They're not too fancy to wear regularly, but be careful because the posts bend easily.The earrings are very well made. The amethysts have a rich purple color and good clarity. The lighter, round amethysts in the middle provide an eye-catching contrast. The sterling silver floral setting nicely displays the gems. The sterling silver is rhodium plated, giving it a bright warmth, increased durability, and tarnish resistance. The earring backs are stamped with: "PAJ," "925," and "CHINA." PAJ stands for Prime Art & Jewel, the manufacturer. I have purchased many Amazon Collection items made by PAJ and they are all excellent quality and value. I couldn't find earrings like this at the mall for under $30.
