Something was wrong with the crown mechanism. No matter how many times it was pushed in or pulled out it remained stuck in the gear that moves the hands. Too bad, because it's a handsome piece. And, yes, I did look for the plastic separator beneath the crown that is sometimes put there to protect against unwanted usage of the battery.

The blue-on-blue is nice looking and the numbers and hands easy to see. The wristband is not very long, barely encircling my wrist. The case looks a little cheap. Granted, the watch cost relatively little, buy I have other watches in that price range that look more expensive.
