I wasn't expecting a lot when I purchased this. I figured it would be decent, but didn't expect it to really impress. I was wrong. This band looks great, and is a little stiff out of the box. To me that's a good thing and means it's sturdy enough to require a break in period. A band you don't need to break in is likely too thin and not worth what you paid. This is definitely a bargain at it's current price point.Best part... It smells like a baseball glove. If you know what I'm talking about, it's intoxicating, and also leads me to believe this really is genuine leather.

so i spent along time looking and buying straps, this is the best one ive found. doesnt irritate my skin, feels nice and soft but firm.. the right color. this is the best strap ive found on amazon, beats all the other 60-100 straps ive found as well.

I buy a lot of straps and don't usually write reviews. But this one is particularly nice. The tanning looks great and it came with a little tool and spare bars to help install it.The only downside is that the 18mm is too short for my wrist. Because the watch is 18mm does not mean it won't be worn by men. I had to buy another band from another brand, but I don't like the look as much, but I just can't use this one. I hope they add just a quarter inch more to the length.

They also provide fixing device too. Without that I wouldn’t be able to change the straps my own. Plus materiel is nice and doesn’t stink when you get sweaty like other cheap leather products.

The look and feel of quality is beyond what I expected. Yes, it's solid, genuine leather; but it's the quality and feel of the leather that's next level. Compared to the genuine leather band that came with my watch, which was rigid and still hadn't relaxed enough to wrap around my wrist, this band easily wrapped around my wrist, feeling like I'd had it for years. It also noticeably elevated the look of my timepiece. For what you pay, this is an easy smart buy.Note: I would have provided a photo, but tapping on the camera icon proved to be an exercise in futility. There must be a problem with Amazon's page options.

Overall it’s a good quality strap for the price. It felt a little stiff out of the box, but it wears great and is comfortable on my wrist. Feels like it should hold up from everyday business/casual wear. I like the thickness and finishing of the leather that gives it a more natural/rustic and rugged look. That being said I wouldn’t put this on a field watch simply because it seems that surface scratches/scuffs will probably take off the finishing of the leather. A couple of negatives I have with it is that the resistance of the spring bars isn’t great and took some trying for the bar to click into the lug hole. However they are quick release bars so they are still much easier to get on and off than having to use a tool! The leather around the release bars is slightly too bulky on one side and rubs against the case of my Dan Henry watch but other than scratching the leather in that spot it should be fine. The negatives are minor to me and the look and feel of this band is great! If it doesn’t hold-up for a reasonable time I’ll come back to update my review. So far I’ve been wearing it about a week in an office setting and it’s been perfect.
