I hesitated in purchasing this cross based on some of the reviews I had read here but, in the end, I went for it and my only regret is that I waited so long. The cross is small and tasteful and in no way does the grooving on the backside take away from its quality (see the picture i’ve Included). In fact, you could wear the grooved side facing out for a more masculine look if it weren’t for the fact it puts the third bar of the cross in the wrong direction. Regarding its thickness, maybe you can bend the cross if you feel compelled to try to do so, but in normal wear that isn’t going to be a problem. If you want something bigger and bolder, check out the orthodox cross intended to go with GI dog tags (its large like dog tags and thicker). This one is very unassuming, modest and tasteful - exactly what I’d want in a cross.

This is complete garbage. They don't show you the back which is etched and hollowed out. Just horrible.
