Normally I have to avoid larger hoops and dangle styles, as they are too long. So when I find a pair of earrings that imitates a longer earring without being overly long, I get them.This pair of earrings is attractive, gives a nice vertical line, and will help with the illusion that your neck is longer (as they give a nice gap between the bottom of the earrings and your shoulders).They are delicate looking, but they aren't so petite that they disappear. They are just the right size to look realistic without being overdone. With any type of stone that imitates a diamond, it is hard to find the balance between realistic and "obviously fake" due to being too large.The earrings I chose are listed as a "champaign gold" color, which I hadn't seen before. When compared to my real gold jewelry, the metal's tone is a step down (like a lighter gold) from the darker gold color of my wedding band. I dislike the brassy color of many other gold plated pieces, as it is too harsh and fake looking. I dislike rose gold, as it looks too pink. The "champaign gold" tone goes well with my real gold pieces.This pair of earrings is dressy enough to wear out to dinner while also being professional enough to wear to work.If you are looking for a smaller size earring that isn't a stud, then this is a nice, versatile addition to your jewelry collection.(As always, if I find a problem with the product after using it for several months, I will update this review.)
