I have been looking for a unique set of dice and a dice vault. There are many expensive dice vaults made of unique wood from around the world, still I was looking for something that is different from all that.I use this chest with the dice sets from Q-Workshop (links below).I needed something that will hold all the dice (12). Also I needed a dice box that either complemented the dice or matches them. I came across this while searching for miniature chest and it matches the diced.I got medium size chest with the two dice sets. They fit comfortably. In general you can fit two standard size D&D dice sets (10 dice each) in a medium size chest. The small one will likely fit 1.5 sets of dice (I created a cardboard box based on dimensions to check). You can see in the photos, this looks amazing. The only complaint I have is that there is no latch, but the build quality is good (seems sturdy) and the chest is heavy enough that the lid closes with gravity. It would have been nice to just place some small rare earth magnets at the latch for extra grip.Other than that, this is perfect. Here are the two dice sets I am using.- Q-Workshop Dwarven Polyhedral Metal Dice (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BOZ1GLC)- Q-Workshop Dwarven D6 Metal set (https://www.amazon.com/Metal-Black-Dwarven-Dice-Set-5D6/dp/B005M1B164)

Used it as a gift box for some sentimental jewelry

This is not stamped sheet metal but is some beefy cast metal. The Medium Bronze I bought came in at 450g, just a whisker under one pound. I was a little put out by the price, but after getting it and feeling the heft I'm fine with it now. The "velvet" is actually some kind of coated plastic material. I can hear it crinkling in the bottom where the cloth doesn't reach the bottom of the box but is suspended above it about 1/8". I'm sure it will rip from the stuff in the box at some point soon. It does look and feel nice though. I really wish I'd paid attention and realized there was no latch or closing mechanism. The weight of the lid makes it secure enough for sitting on a shelf, but I expect this to get some frequent handling and I'd have preferred a little something, anything, to secure that lid. The dimensions and pics on the listing were accurate. People complaining about it being small should really use some paper to fold up a little model using the listed measurements to get a feel for what the dimensions are like IRL.TL;DR - Knowing the poor alternatives to this out there on AMZ and having read the description carefully I'm not disappointed at all because I don't think I could do better in this price range, but with a slightly better lining and some sort of closer/latch I would go from "not disappointed" to "beyond happy".

I bought the small one intending to put 60 $1 coins in it but it's too small. Still keeping it, it's awesome.

I got this to put my rings in whenever I go to bed. It's very, very well made and sturdy and even a little heavy. Perfect size. I love it!!

Bought two of the larger boxes, still small but perfect for my use. I have a large jewelry box for most of my very precious pieces, but these are perfect for trinkets (rings, charm bracelets, etc). They look like beautiful miniatures of old fashioned treasure chests and complement my large jewelry box perfectly. I use one for gold jewelry and one for silver. This way my jewelry is now well organized. The treasure chests are very solid, very durable and very elegant, especially for the price.

Bought this little chest a few months ago to gift to my husband for our 8th anniversary (bronze) and he loves it! His rings and chain fit perfectly with some room to spare. I’m not sure if it’s real bronze but the metal is pretty sturdy and weighs a nice amount. The inside is lined with a velvet type fabric so it’s soft enough for delicate items. Really great buy. I’ll be sure to update if anything happens.
