I have several occasions per year to wear formalwear with French Cuffs and always end up misplacing at least one cufflink. My wife asked that I get these to match a particular green dress she likes to wear.Construction is decent but you're not going to fool anyone that they're Tiffany quality items. They add a pop of color to the cuff and are better than cheapo links. For the price, they're great and you won't get annoyed if you lose one.

As a fan of French cuffs, I have accumulated about eight or so pairs of cufflinks with one or two being fairly expensive. The best and favorite cufflinks are the ones that have a sophisticated and shiny look. This particular pair of cufflinks is made with green natural opal cut stone that is about half an inch in length and a quarter of an inch in width. The shape of the stone is curved giving this pair a shape of a classic shaver. The stone itself has a nice reflective quality to it. Hence it’s name cat eye, I guess.Based on the looks of the pair, nobody will be able to tell that it is so economical. In departmental stores, similar Cufflinks sell for at least twice the price. The other consideration with cufflinks is whether the buckle would stay or not. Based on my usage for a few days I think this cufflink certainly stays pit when worn thereby alleviating the fear that it may fall off. The stone itself is set quite well and I don’t get the impression that it will fall off on normal use. What a product this is that is so compelling in looks and price, I am very happy to give it five stars.

This is a common opal, not a fire opal, so a semi precious gemstone, Great for accenting green accents on your suit. These are the kind of cufflinks you can wear everyday if you like.

Up close, you can tell pretty easily that the setting is not that fancy. It looks a little clunky, and the turning piece doesn’t turn smoothly. But the opal reflects light in interesting ways, and who peers at your cuffs closely? I’m happy to add it to my collection.
