Well packaged and the finishes are protected with plastic tape. Looks nice. I've included a photo with side-by-side comparison to a $100 watch (Invicta) on left and $1500 watch (Isobrite) on right. My personal opinion is the face and dial of this watch is a little busy or cluttered and difficult to read (unless you have very good eyesight acuity). The date is small and hard to read (my opinion is it needs a cyclops magnifier). Being quartz it should keep very accurate time. My biggest complaints are: 1) the back of the case appears to be snap off versus screwed, 2) the time was hard to set accurately because each time I pushed in the crown it moved the minute hand off of the minute track markers, 3) the second and minute hands do not line up perfectly with the markers, and 4) when setting the date for the first time for the 2nd of the month it skipped from 1 to 3 (this problem did not repeat on the next try). My personal opinion is for watches in this price range I would be inclined to go with an Invicta or a Timex or other more well known brand. (Made in China)
