This is a nice, sturdy NATO. The orange color is a touch more subdued than other orange straps I've seen recently, but not in a bad way. It's perfect for summer.The fabric is a thinner nylon. It's not super thin, but not as thick as some of my other NATO's. It's lightweight, I like it, and feel like it will hold up.The hardware is polished--an interesting choice. On the one hand, that will work with a lot of different watches with polished finishes, but on the other hand, I feel like all NATO's should come with brushed hardware. To me, a NATO is best worn with a sport watch--a pilot or a diver, ala James Bond wearing his Rolex Submariner with a black and gray striped NATO (the Submariner being a dive watch). Most dive watches have primarily brushed finishes. And this being an orange strap, it seems to me that it will likely be used with a diver or pilot. Still, the polished finish is going to work for some people, and a lot of dive watches do have different finishes on the case--partially brushed and partially polished.In general, I am a fan of the Ratio brand and have owned several of their watches in the past. They are generally well made and affordably priced. This strap is no different.For Amazon's current price of under $10, this seems like an excellent value for a brand name strap (although there is no actual branding on the strap itself). I've seen these Ratio NATO's go for $15 or more. So this seems like a great price, especially with summer approaching!

This is a good example of this kind of watchband. The nylon is sturdy, and the hardware is too. I got the 18mm size, a little small for my Timex Weekender—I'd say 20 mm is optimum, and 22mm is too wide—but the 18mm works just fine and doesn't look odd.The only point of differentiation with most of these nylon bands, I think, is the price. They're all pretty good otherwise. And at $9.90 as of now, this is priced pretty well. I got a set of four bands priced at around $16, which was a better deal. And I got a single band priced at around $12. So shop around, and find the deal and colors that suit you. I think this one is just dandy.

The media could not be loaded.  I needed to replace my several year old NATO strap on my daily beater dive watch after the hardware came out during a machine wash, and this fit the bill. The 22mm size fits my 22mm lug width watch perfectly, like perfectly perfectly. I'm actually super impressed with how spot-on the sizing is.Material seems good, maybe a little thicker than I'm used to and a little stiff, but I'm sure it'll soften up with wear. No rough edges or stray threads to speak of. The metal hardware is standard fare and should do the job just fine.The nylon on this has a bit more of a sheen than I expected, an almost metallic shimmer in the light compared to some of the other straps I own. The blue is a royal blue as opposed to a deeper navy. Overall I'm quite happy with it and hopefully it lasts!
