I have three of Ratio's automatic diver watches and was interested in their quartz offerings. This watch has the same great built construction, materials, and specifications. The case is a hefty and durable stainless steel with a screw on stainless steel case back. The crown is screw down to ensure a nice tight seal for the 200m water resistance. The bezel is a unidirectional 60 click that operates smoothly and with loud and positive clicks. There is a slight back play that allows some misalignment between the bezel and dial indices. Changing the date and setting the time is easy and intuitive and the movement hacks. The watch measurements are:44mm case diameter (46mm with crown)10.5mm thickness22mm lug width, 48.5mm lug to lug.I have an 8 inch wrist and I was quite surprised this was a 44mm case as it looks like a 40mm watch. I think the watch strap dimensions contribute to that illusion as it is rather wide at 22mm but it also has an extra 2mm on each side at the lug; this makes the case itself look smaller. The strap tapers down to 20mm and the buckle is 24mm. The crown has the Ratio pi symbol, the buckle has the Ratio name, and the case back has the free diver image etched on them. The polyurethane strap is not too thick, flexible enough out of the box, and is plenty long, giving me an extra 4 holes in case I ever wear a dive suit (not likely since I do desk diving). I usually only get 1 or 2 holes on factory supplied straps.I also like the thinness of 10.5mm, where my other quartz and automatic dive watches start at 12mm and go up to 18.5mm. This makes it much more feasible to wear under a dress shirt sleeve. The case and bezel are all brushed. The hands are large and legible. Even the date window is surprisingly readable. The hands, hour markers, and the 12 o'clock position on the bezel are illuminated. It was quite bright after being hit with UV light for only several seconds and it was still quite legible at the 5 minute mark. The second hand has the luminescenece on the counterbalance dot rather than the tip, which seems backwards. The crystal is sapphire and is slightly proud of the bezel; you can just feel the edge of the crystal as you brush your finger across the face. As I was measuring the thickness with my digital calipter, I accidentally dragged the edge of the sharp and metallic jaw atop the crystal. Not a scratch!Overall, you get a lot of watch (materials, construction, functionality, performance, design, wearability, durability) for the price, making this a very affordable every day beater watch.

Beautiful watch, not too heavy, not too big, zaphire glass, 200 meter water, screw down crown, but it runs 5 minutes per day faster than my phone's time. I returned it.

The RATIO FreeDiver Professional Diver Watch is designed in Italy and features a 316L stainless steel case with a black PU strap. It is equipped with a Japanese Quartz Movement using the Caliber VX42E and is built with a screw-down crown for added protection. One of its key features is its 200M water resistance, making it suitable for diving.
