These pins are so pretty. I have given my mother two of them, the red one and this one. The red one is great for Christmas and the purple one all year long. My mom is a third grade teacher at a private school 69 years old still has fashion sense and wears a lot of neutrals so pins and little Accessories perk up her outfit. Plus they are made in America which is the best thing of all!

Very attractive pin. Nice size. This pin is very well-made and I appreciate the back part being heavy enough to withstand use over a long period of time. The purple color is distinctive without being garish (though the shiny material covering the metal seems a little plastic-like). I will enjoy the wearing of this brooch.

Just as a "random act of kindness," my children and grand children are getting little pins and brooches from me in remembrance of their Mom and Gramma, who loved to wear them -- she passed away several years ago and left me with dozens.
