Im 5'9 it definitely fit even a little extra space , the spikes arent plastic definitely some kind of metal, it didn't cuase me any rashes,good quality, definitely worth the money.

Given it does say faux leather..it is faux as are the spiked rivets which are plastic. Metal clasping isn't good for daily use as it will cause rashes if you're allergic to certain metals. Overall though, it fits well and is very light weight.
